A recovery board is a plate you put under the wheel when the vehicle loses traction. That sounds trivial, but the difference between a good and a bad board shows exactly at the moment when there is loose sand or ice under the tyre: one bites and pushes the vehicle forward, the other slides out or cracks. ActionTrax is firmly on the first side — with no vehicle weight limit.

What is the difference between Recovery Trax and Metal Teeth?
Recovery Trax have ball-shaped teeth formed together with the board — nothing to come loose. Metal Teeth have 72 bolted stainless steel teeth, 18 at each end, which bite harder into hard and frozen ground and can be replaced individually. A Metal Teeth pair weighs 8.16 kg against 7.25 kg for the standard version.

Will the boards damage my tyres?
